Schill on Bonds*, doping, and penguins

Schill has issued a public apology for his honest opines on Barry Bonds*. Even though I do not agree with Schill politically, I think a lot of the guy. Two words--bloody sock! Steroids, speed and other drugs definitely seem to be a problem in baseball and I think that Bonds* has cheated. Its all about money anyway.

Cycling is no different. The recent admissions in the Operacion Puerto scandal have really put what I think is the worst and most permanent scar on the sport yet. Turbo makes some excellent points about a certain Texan and now more than ever calls his performance into question. Change is needed in sport--for the kids sake!

On a bit of a lighter note, a family recently traveled to Sea World with their young son born with Down Syndrome. This young man apparently always has his backpack with things he collects from places he has been. The story goes that he ran away from his family on a stopped roller coaster and was missing for several hours before being found asleep on bench. The parents realized the youth smelled badly and decided to call it a day returning to the hotel. Upon entering the room, the young man sprinted into the bathroom and locked the door. After a while, the parents suspected something was amiss and had to break down the door to get it. Apparently, they found that the young man had somehow stolen a penguin and brought it back to the hotel unbeknown to anyone!!

Finally, Beckett has won 7 so far this year and the Sox are holding quite well. The Yankees have gone shopping which any woman can tell you should make them feel better! Maybe they will show up after all...
